I made this lovely trifle on year for James' birthday. He loves cherries, and so I knew he'd love this trifle. It really was as good as it looked. I don't think I've ever made a bread quite like this. There's a ton of butter in the dough. We have birthday traditions at our house that may not be your typical ones. You know my mom started it years ago. Thanksgiving!!! My FAVORITE holiday all year long! I do admit to having my Christmas tree up, and all the trimmings and decorations that are associated with Christmas, but for me it just adds to the Thanksgiving spirit. Razzleberry Pie. Need I say more? I post this recipe every year around Thanksgiving because it is such a winner!! It's just the best pie, and it makes 5 at a time.
