Rachel’s Cookies and Cream Popcorn

August 23, 2010 By: Lisa4 Comments

This is another recipe for the annual Cousin Party.  Now technically Rachel isn’t a cousin since she married into the fam, but we’ll keep her.  She keeps TJ in line.  She made a really easy recipe, but it impressed all of us.  It doesn’t look so easy, but really it is.  Make it at your next gathering—people will love your guts, and sing your praises!

Rachel’s Cookies and Cream Popcorn

A bunch of popcorn popped (Old maid free if you can)
1 pkg white almond bark
1 pkg Oreo’s crushed (Not obliterated just gently chunked into good sized pieces)
In the microwave melt the almond bark 1 min.  Repeat until it is smooth and melty.  Stir into the popcorn and Oreo chunks.  Pour onto a cookie sheet until cool and then break up and serve.  Hey if you want you could package it and sell  tini-tiny bags for $5.  You’d be rich!!

Must try this! BUT I need an “occasion” with lots of people or I will eat it all myself.

How exciting! Never in a million years did I think something I made who make it on to a delicious blog like yours 🙂

Extra note: This recipe is the very best when made with white popcorn. You can even get fluffy white popcorn for the microwave – just make sure it’s butter free! The butter flavor takes away from the yummy chocolate and oreos.

P.S. Glad that you’ll keep me around – I’d hate to miss the awesome cousin parties 🙂

    Love ya!
